Where do I start?

Where do I start?

We always recommend you start with one of our classes or private instructions if you haven’t had much experience with firearms. Not only will you learn about the responsibility and safety requirements, but you will learn marksmanship skills to keep you motivated and feeling accomplished. You can find more information on our classes page or stop by and see us at The Range, and we will help get you set up with the course option that is right for you.

For more information, please select the Classes menu from the top of the page.

If you are an experienced shooter, you might be interested in coming to check out our Monday Night League or our Tactical League.

Buying a Gun

If you are considering purchasing a firearm, whether it is your first gun or your 50th, you want to make certain you have everything California requires. Once you have selected the perfect firearm, you will need to provide the following documents in order to purchase:

California Photo Identification

California Firearm Safety Certificate (you can also get this at the time of purchase, so don’t panic)

2 Proof of Residency Documents (Utility Bill, Vehicle Registration, or Rental Agreement with your name and your current physical address)

Once you complete your paperwork, there is a mandatory 10-day waiting period before you can pick up your new firearm; it’s like waiting for Christmas! Just swing on by The Range and we will get you started the right way!
