Welcome to The Range

The Range is a full line gun store and shooting range located in Grass Valley (map). We offer a safe environment for people to practice and further their knowledge of the sport, and truly enjoy every moment of it.

The Range offers 10 – 25 yard pistol lanes and 4 – 50 yard indoor rifle lanes for your convenience, that are open to the public. We have an array of courses, from basic firearms safety to advanced marksmanship programs to get you started or improve your shooting skills.

What’s at The Range?

  • Hourly Range Fees

    • Pistol Range: $15.00 per shooter
    • Rifle Range: $19.00 per shooter

    Second shooter sharing the lane is charged ½ price in addition (limit 2 people per lane)

  • Gun Rentals

    We have a great selection of handguns and .22 rifles for rent at a modest price while you are using our shooting range. Some of the available brands are Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, and Ruger, just to name a few.

  • Gun Shop

    Looking for some accessories or a great price on ammo? Our Gun Shop has just about everything you need from new handguns, rifles and shotguns to holsters slings and ear protection. Find out More

    The Range hosts a wide variety of fun competitive and social events from tactical weapons competitions to the annual turkey shoot. Learn more about Events

The Range Proudly Supports

The Boy Scouts of America, The Future Farmers of America, Hunter Safety programs, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The Nevada County Law Enforcement and Fire Protection Council and many other community and non-profit activities. We also believe in God and the Pledge of Allegiance, and if anybody doesn’t like it, too damn bad.
